Dear friends, despite major power cuts and internet disruptions besides end of year school exams, we were able to hold 24 classes in July 2021 compared to 21 in June 2021 (+14%). 11 teachers delivered through gift economy classes to 88 students from all over Lebanon: 5 classes in Oud, 4 mindfulness, 3 in music, vocal, and drawing, 2 in reading/writing and dance, and 1 in photography and guitar.
78% of the students were female and 22% male. The regional distribution is as the following: 49% Mount Lebanon, 13% from outside of Lebanon, 10% Beirut, 7% Bekaa and the rest from other parts of Lebanon. The age groups are as the following:
